We at Malmö Latin School are looking for a teacher for Spanish instruction. The position is a temporary part-time role at 17% during the period from January 7, 2026, to June 18, 2026. Join us and contribute to the future of Malmö residents and society.

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you work to ensure that students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their conditions. Your work includes planning, teaching, assessment, as well as evaluation and development of the educational activities, in accordance with the school's governing documents. Classes are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you find yourself in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Teaching certification
• Eligibility to teach Spanish at the upper secondary level
• Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
• Good insight into the school's goals and governing documents
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

• Experience teaching Spanish
• Experience in other teaching or educational work.

We are looking for someone who is confident in the teaching role and creates good conditions for students' learning and development. You adapt your teaching to the student's and group's conditions and prior knowledge through a creative approach and a very good pedagogical ability.

Your working style is characterized by good structure, and you prioritize and organize tasks effectively. Additionally, you contribute to good collaboration and communicate openly, clearly, and attentively with your surroundings. You also understand how students' backgrounds, cultures, and group affiliations affect learning, and you create an inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.
